Our first full day, we spent the morning at the Grand Hotel pool in Fairhope. They had a lazy river and a water slide, so the kids loved it! Later that day, we visited the U.S.S. Alabama Battleship in Mobile. The kids were scared walking up and down the narrow stairs inside the ship, so that didn't go over well. But, they enjoyed looking at all the aircraft and tanks; Braden especially. Being there made me think of my Papa, who was in the army, and how much I love and appreciate all our military men and women!
